At-home lessons in GTA: ~70/hr (depending on location)

BIOGRAPHY:

Daisy Rho is an accomplished violin and piano teacher based in Toronto, ON, with a rich background in music education and performance. She has been teaching privately since 2013, inspiring students through her extensive experience and passion for music.

Daisy began her musical journey with the Young Artist's program at the Royal Conservatory of Music. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University with a full scholarship and a Master's Degree in Music from McGill University, where she graduated with a GPA of 3.8 and served as Concertmaster of the McGill Symphony Orchestra.

Currently, Daisy is the Music Director at Brooklin United Church, where she leads rehearsals and provides musical direction as a pianist and organist. She also worked as a Music Consultant for RX Music, curating music programs for clients and writing articles to support young musicians.

As a self-employed music teacher, Daisy has developed a comprehensive curriculum for her students, teaching violin, piano, and music theory. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of music.

In addition to her musical endeavors, Daisy is pursuing an Acupuncture Diploma at Eight Branches College of Eastern Medicine, reflecting her commitment to holistic well-being and continuous learning.
