“Spirit” is an incredible pony we love dearly. He has packed my kids since they were little (2 and 3 years old). They have officially outgrown him. I really want him to go to a ranch family who will use him like we did and treat him like a horse- not a pony. He is great to pony around with your little kids, and is awesome when you ride him on his own. He is great around his feet, won't kick, doesn't spook, and has been well looked after. He is used to bikes, dogs, side by sides, you name it. I have even gathered horses off of him, and pulled the kids on toboggans. He foundered on crested wheat a couple of years ago, but we work with an excellent farrier who rehabilitated him and he has been good ever since. Because of this, we don't put him out on grass from the time it greens up until it hardens. Other than that, he's an easy keeper.
