Exact origin/age of the pieces is unknown, however they are estimated to originate sometime in the 1950's based on style and similar pieces. The pieces have been used in an In-Home Therapy Office in a clean, health & allergy conscious smoke-free home.

Condition:
Both pieces are well-built and in excellent, structurally sound condition, and able to support weight.
Both pieces have recently been professionally re-upholstered with quality authentic leather in Red-Orange colour. The photos show the colour pretty accurately. A pantone swatch that matches very closely is included too.
Leather on the couch is in almost-pristine condition. There is one small white scuff on the front of one couch cushion. It is likely removed with some cleaning and polishing.
Leather on the chair shows some minor signs of wear and cracking (shown in photos) in the seating and arm areas.
All wood framing is in good condition, with the exception of some minor scuffs that are easily repaired.
