Job Title: Cook

Nature of Employment: Permanent Full-Time Position

Salary: $17.00/ hour for 37.5 to 44 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends

Job duties:
• Plan, prepare, and cook food like bread, pizza, and meat.
• Plan, direct, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain record of food costs, inventory, supply, and equipment.
• Plan menus, ensure quality of food, and portion control.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking activities in the kitchen.
• While on duty, keep the cooking area clean to make sure the health, and food safety standards are met.
• May contribute to selecting, interviewing, and hiring kitchen staff.

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
