Mostly furnished, though the roommate is responsible for furnishing your own bedroom. Rent includes heat and hot water. The unit offers lots of storage, in-suite laundry, and a large outdoor patio. Parking is available. The unit is cat-friendly, but only for one more cat. Sorry - this building is not dog-friendly.

About the building: The Luxor 2 apartment building is located on Larry Uteck Blvd. Known for being a luxury apartment complex that is very well maintained. The building features a fitness room and a common room. Parking is available. The roommate will have to be approved by the building manager before moving in. Just outside the building is the bus stop for routes 90 and 91. Within walking distance is the grocery store, pharmacies, gyms, and cafes - including starbucks, mcdonalds, and tim hortons. Lastly - the building has accessible features, including power buttons to open main doors and two elevators that operate on a generator during power outages.

About your roommate: I am a 29-year-old cis-gendered woman from Halifax. I also have a small calico cat named Bunny, who is very friendly and snuggly. English is my first language, but I can speak some French. I work for the Provincial government, mostly from home but occasionally go into the office for meetings. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, hanging with friends, playing softball, and doing crafts. I don't smoke cigarettes, but I am cannabis friendly. I'm easy going, tidy, respectful, and eager to find someone who vibes well with me.

About you: You have reliable and stable income. You can provide rental history or references upon request. Ideally - you're around my age and lead a similar life. You are respectful, tidy, and friendly. You're able to set and communicate boundaries and you respect my boundaries. You're good with cats, and if you vape, you don't do it inside. You're also LGBTQ friendly.
