The Ultra-light aircraft Pilot Permit means you can learn to fly in aircraft like
the Challenger, Murphy Rebel, Zenith Air 601 and the Kit Fox.

You can start at age 14 , fly solo at 14 and get your permit at 16.
Minimum hours are 10 hours comprised of a minimum of 5 duel and 2 solo.
To carry a passenger, you need to log an additional 25 hours solo and pass
another flight test.

You can use some of your Ultra light hours towards your private pilot's license.

Ground school is only 20 hours and can count towards your Private Pilot Ground School

The airfield is St. Francois Xavier just west of Winnipeg at a beautiful grass airfield.
