Peaceful Keepers Home Care is now hiring for Health Care Aides. You will need to have a Certificate from a recognized and accredited school for Health Care Aide, and updated criminal record check. We are looking for a RELIABLE, kind, honest, dedicated, gentle, empathetic (FEMALE) in-home caregiver for a 86 year old Dementia patient. Very easy to care for. Hours would be 9 AM - 12 PM Monday to Thursday with possible shifts in the evenings.
The caregiver will be working in one house living in the NORTHSIDE AND THE CAREGIVER SHOULD HAVE A CAR TO DRIVE THE CLIENT IN CASE and Duties include:

Personal supervision: providing constant companionship
Mobility assistance: help with getting in and out of a wheelchair, car or shower;
Emotional support: being a stable companion and supporter in all matters personal, health-related and emotional;
Care for the elderly: orienting or grounding someone with Dementia/ Parkinson.
Home organization: general house care, housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning;
The caregiver must be familiar with celiac restrictions and not have any pets.
Proficiencies in English written and verbal: observant to client's status and reports changes to the office team in a timely manner.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills: Has a compassionate, positive, and caring attitude who is capable of empathizing with our clients.
Class 5 Driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.
