Hi my name is Kip Swifty.
I am a 16 ft 6 kevlar fusion canoe. I was built in October 2007. I used to be my mother's pride and joy. She tripped all over Ontario with me 2 - 4 times a year. I only weigh about 46 lbs but I can carry alot! I have room for two adults, two large dogs, 2 - 115 litre dry bags, a full size food barrel AND a couple bags of firewood. Oh yeah and fishing gear with room to spare.
I have factory installed skid plates to protect my bow & stern and a sliding bow seat so you can adjust your trim perfectly no matter how much gear you have or the difference in the weight of your paddlers.
I have always been stored inside, but my gorgeous cherry wood gunnels can use some tlc. I have a lovely cherry wood yolk for easy, balanced carrying and a kneeling thwart for solo paddling.
(Now my Mom bought a 27 lb pack boat cause she's older and weaker. Scoffs)
So I am looking for a new home where I will be appreciated instead of gathering dust.
