Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join Heartland Truck Lines. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting equipment and Livestock to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization as you will ensure timely deliveries.
Responsibilities:

- Safely operate trucks and follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload trailers.
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate with customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe transportation
- Follow maintenance schedules on the truck as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to run Canada and some USA
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Ability to operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers (Flatbed Livestock and vans)
- Proficient in manual transmission operation
- Familiarity with livestock and flatbed LTL
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
