Class 1 Driver – Aggregate Experience

Job Type – Full-time
Schedule – 5-6 days per week (project dependent), overtime hours
Wage – Based on experience
Location – Residence within 1 hour of Coaldale, Alberta
Experience – minimum 2 years experience

Duties –
• Operate truck in a safe and professional manner for shift operations as directed.
• Truck driven include but not limited to belly dumps, side sumps, dump trucks and semi-tractor truck with attached trailers
- Deliver aggregate and other material as determined by the Supervisor/Dispatcher
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections, preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks to proactively identify any potential mechanical issues and advise our on-site mechanics
- Behave in a manner that ensures the safety of themselves, their co-workers and the public
- Comply with established company and client policies and procedures and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) when and where required
- Assist other employees when required

Requirements –
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Clean Drivers Abstract (candidate to provide a current drivers' abstract)
- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated dedication and reliability
- Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities
- Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
