I built this butcher block to have a large & portable food prep surface with kitchen appliance storage built-in. The countertop is 50x25x1.5in birch, I've oiled & waxed it with food-safe cutting board oil and wax (which I'll give for free with purchase). It rolls on caster wheels and features a long bar for hanging whatever you need at hand. The material cost was $595 but I'm moving so I'm selling a lot of stuff at really great prices.
