Accommodation in the way of an RV site ($850./mo) or possibly a private, large 1 BR home ($1750. mo) available for either a competent on site handyman & general helper, and/or experienced help with looking after mostly ornamental birds as well as goat care for a few friendly goats, (mostly light work).
Our calm, gentle horses free-range on the property & need very minimal care (no need for horse experience).
There is occasional back-up help with camp hosting available as well for someone with their own RV.
The handyman/general helper is not needed daily, and is much more flexible.
There is a minimum of 2 - 3 hours per day needed for the animal care person but additional work is very possible for the right person.
Remuneration to depend on experience for tradesperson.
(I'm not going to kid myself that I will find an all-in-one person!)
This is a very private, gated and gorgeous property with a high degree of safety, on a beautiful riverside recreational farm/campground with a beach that has a world class fishing spot & ATVing right out of our gate onto unlimited trails & logging roads as well as you can kayak Class I-IV rapids on the river.
NO DRUGS or serious criminal records. This is suitable for people that appreciate peace & quiet. Must be honest, reliable and well-balanced with good references. A positive disposition and sense of humour are greatly appreciated!
The RV Pad is in our very quiet campground & includes power, ($850.)
OR
a nicely finished private 1 BR house, ($1750.) that overlooks a field and has a gorgeous mountain view. It also has a good-sized covered deck, garden area, wood stove & has been recently renovated.
This is a place most suited for people accustomed to living in the country. Our water is spring water, & we have to be water conscience in later summer.
FOR THE HOUSE:
Preference given to persons that can do their own upgrades or repairs (paid of course) & you'd need to have great references.
**It is for MAX 2 people (preferably only 1 due to water usage) and no smokers (inside or outside) or dogs (other pets possible). We have Livestock Guardian Dogs patrolling the farm so no other dogs can be here.
FOR THE RV PAD:
*Dogs & smokers are fine for the RV Pad as that is away from the farm.
