I'm a homeowner with more properties than I can handle, and there's a never-ending list of things that need fixing, building, and maintaining. We're talking everything from building decks, drywalling, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, general maintenance, running cables, installing tiles, doing trim work – you name it, I need it.

* Experience and Skills: You should know how to do all the stuff mentioned above. If you don't, sorry, this isn't the job for you.

* Self-Starter: I don't have time to babysit. You need to be able to work on your own, figure things out, and get stuff done. If you need constant hand-holding, this isn't the job for you.

* Trustworthy: This is a big one. You're going to have access to my properties and my trust. Don't break it.

* Flexible Hours: Usually around 8-4 or 9-5, but if you like to start early or want to work extra hours for more cash, I'm flexible.

* Transportation: Must have a vehicle that can tow a small trailer and a valid driver's license. Fuel compensation for out-of-the-way trips.

* Cash Money: $20/hour, paid in cash. No fancy corporate payroll here.

* Full-Time Work: There's no shortage of work, so you'll be busy. I already have one full-time guy and another starting in July, but I need more hands on deck.

* No Micromanagement: You're a grown-up, I expect you to act like one. Manage your own time and get the job done.

Throw that in too. I'm looking for personality here as well, not just skills. Nobody wants to work with Allan who can't make eye contact and only eats soup.
