Job summary: This position entails general laboring duties in a shop setting and plays a pivotal role in streamlining the flow of product.

Job Responsibilities:
• Capable of maintaining an organized work station.
• Attention to detail when performing tasks.
• Capable of using hand tools (mechanic tools)
• Operate and maintain machinery such as deburrers, grinders, band saws, drill presses, lathe, etc.
• Assist machine operators
• Transport raw material and finished metal products manually or by mechanical means
• Be able to lift up to 70 LBS
• Sort metal parts, scrap metal and other materials
• Clean, package and load metal parts
• Clean work areas and equipment
• Comply with company safe work practices and procedures
• Various other duties as required

Job Type: Part time
Required education:
• High school or equivalent

Required experience:
• Entitled to work in Canada
• Shop: 1 year
