Joel White designed 16' Shearwater pulling boat. This is a traditional style, seaworthy and capable double ender. Stitch and glue construction, built about 25 years ago, with proper materials, marine plywood and epoxy. Good joinery. Fibreglassed from garboards down. Similar in appearance to traditional cottage boats from the days before outboards. Good speed under oars. Carries well, between strokes. 8' oars. Brass rowlocks. Two rowing stations.
