Operations Manager for Lynn Fletcher Weddings

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Calgary. The ideal applicant is proficient in all aspects of operations and thrives on organization, is an independent self-starter, handles stress well and can resolve problems in a friendly yet effective and efficient manner.

Qualifications:
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint), Google Drive and Canva is required.
Prior experience with calendar management and meeting logistics is required.
A certificate, diploma, or degree in the Events, Weddings, and Social Event Planning, or Tourism Management field is an asset.
Previous experience in the weddings, event or hospitality industry is an asset
You are professional in both appearance and the way you carry yourself both inside and outside the workplace. This includes on social media.
Finally, you need to be a problem solver and be able to take direction from numerous individuals. A team player would be ideal who thrives in a positive and outgoing work environment.

Requirements:
Must be interested in the aesthetics of events.
Must have access to a computer, email, and cellular phone.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be willing to work Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
This position will be approximately 20 hours to start and will grow into full-time.
A class 5 driver's license and a reliable vehicle are a must.
Tasks include pick ups and returns using company vehicle, inventory in our small warehouse, light cleaning and dusting as needed.
Salary $22 per hour.
