Work will be completed in various work sites around the Greater Vancouver Regional District, from West Vancouver to Delta and Hope. Duties

• Place electrical ducts in trenches
• Assist skilled trade person and perform labouring activities at construction sites
• Perform manual task such as, loading and unloading of equipment and materials
• Move equipment and materials to difference work sites
• Clean spills and remove rubble and debris at work sites
• Adhere to Company Safety regulations and policies
• Will be required to do physical labour work which will include lot of standing, walking, bending etc.
• Regularly report to site supervisor
• English is required at the workplace

• Self-motivated, team-oriented with positive attitude
• Be professional and respectful demeanour with clients, sub-trades, and crew members

Experience

Previous work experience in construction environment involving excavations will be an asset



Education

• High School Certificate (Grade 12)

Wages & Benefits

• $33.26 per hour, 40 hours per week
• Night shift may be required
• Weekend work may be available
• Worker will join LiUNA 1611 union once trial period is complete. Medical, Dental, Disability and Family Assistance programs are all through the union
• 15 days' vacation per year
