Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in building outdoor structures such as decks, fences, and pergolas. If you are detail-oriented, dependable, and dedicated to crafting high-quality outdoor projects, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
• Construct and install decks, fences, pergolas, and other outdoor structures as per specifications and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using various tools and machines.
• Assemble and join materials using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
• Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or fixtures.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on job sites.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to understand client needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Use various tools and equipment, including circular saws, table saws, routers, pneumatic nail guns, ramsets, drills, and more.
• Prepare layouts and build foundations.
• Help schedule and coordinate work on job sites.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment for landscape construction projects.
• Complete and submit daily paperwork reporting time and job costs.
• Always wear appropriate PPE and ensure laborers/crew members do the same.
• Provide guidance and support to junior carpenters and apprentices as needed.
• Estimate material requirements and project costs.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers, for seamless project completion.

Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience as a carpenter, focusing on outdoor spaces.
• Proficient with carpentry tools and machinery.
• Apprenticeship program completion or technical training in carpentry preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience in the landscape/construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Capable of safely operating required equipment and tools.
• Good time management skills.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and equipment for landscape/construction practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Work Conditions:
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the work shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, and crouch for long periods and perform strenuous physical tasks.

• Regular work near heavy equipment and other vehicles.
