A small , 3 1/4" Ht x 3 1/4" wide, ceramic pitcher by Hollinshead & Kirkham out of England. 1930's.
Many years ago I walked into Tim Isaac's shop and on the large white shelves where he would put new arrivals going to auction this piece jumped out at me and I knew I had to have it. The hand painted tulips remind me of Spring!
The name of the design is " Tulip Spring" which is hard to find. Not to be confused with " Tulip Time" which is commoner.
The poor man's Moorcroft it's been said of H & K's ceramics of this style. No chips or cracks. I have two other H & K pieces up.
