Redbones need a home with owners who are prepared
to commit to the necessary training. This means training for
good manners and not allowing the pup to rule the roost.

If you can't be the 'boss' your puppy will happily rule the roost.
It might be cute when your pup is small but it's unmanageable
if it's let continue into young adulthood.

Redbones are very strong, high energy dogs. This is not a Coonhound that's happy to lounge
around like Blueticks. They have BIG voices. Not suitable for apartment
dwellers. They enjoy hunting, hiking, walking, running or whatever you are up for!

They can be introduced to resident kitties easily as puppies. Kitties set the rules and pups
respect them.
