DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
• Leading and working alongside a construction team or alone and coordinating with subcontractors as required.
• Ensure projects are completed and built according to approved plans, specifications, and shop drawings while maintaining high-quality standards and deadlines.
• Working with clients throughout the job process to ensure an excellent customer experience
• Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including strategic demolition, framing, flooring (sub and finish) trim work, cabinetry installation, plastering and paintings.
• Actively manage opportunities to avoid risks and achieve the best possible results for quality, schedule and financial targets.
• Learn and utilize technology to streamline and systemize productivity (CompanyCam, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, adhering to all safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.
• This position will report to superiors and actively participate in implementing systems to standardize our customer service and quality of work.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Highly skilled Lead Carpenter with min. 5 years of experience as a construction lead on a team.
• Excellent at managing client expectations and communications during a large-scale, high-quality expectation renovation project.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (interpret drawings and plans)
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
• Good communication skills (English & French)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment or solo
• A valid driver's license and a vehicle
• Trustworthy, honest, respectful, accountable, positive, and reliable
• Able to take the initiative and actively problem-solve or troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise.
