Bookkeeper Part-time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant to complete all bookkeeping and assist with general office duties in our law firm. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in office tasks. Experience is REQUIRED at least 3-5 years. - General understanding and familiar with trust accounting and working in a law firm.
Duties:
Full Cycle Bookkeeping using Sage 50
-accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
-recording in trust journal
-create invoices and collections
-process A/P by EFT
-process payroll by EFT
-maintain financial records using Sage 50
-post journal entries, reconcile accounts
-remit all government payments for HST, Current Source Deductions and Income Tax
-provide clerical and administrative support to paralegal
-other office functions as needed
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
Experience:
• Front desk: 2 years (preferred)
• Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Sage 50: 2 years (required)
Work Location: College Street, Kitchener ON
Hourly Wage: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, depends on experience.
