Hi! My name is Shobana. I'm a professional musician & multi-instrumentalist with many years of experience, currently accepting new students for my private practice while pursuing further studies in music and composition at Humber College.

I'm accepting new students for beginner piano, keyboard and guitar in all styles of music, some being:
-pop/rock
-jazz
-funk
-R&B
-classical (can do RCM or Trinity prep)
-world music (experience with Indian, Arab, East Asian, Latin American and European music)
-theory and songwriting/composing techniques

I like to take a personalized approach when teaching and can cater my lessons to you or your child's preferences.
I'm able to teach individual or small group lessons (if you have many family members for example), and can travel to the areas of: Whitchurch-Stouffville, Markham, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Uxbridge and Pickering.
I also have experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, so don't be shy older students!

My rates are $30-40/hour or $15-20/half hour, depending on travel time.
