Ahvey is a roughly 2 year old Banana Mojave male ball python. Ahvey was brought to us as his owner was struggling with worsening health conditions and wanted to ensure he found the best possible home. Ahvey is in wonderful condition though is still learning that new people are not scary. His previous owner loved him very much and was the only one who handled him, which has resulted in him being nervous around new people. This is a nice and easy trust building situation where over time, he will come to be an even more gentle little guy who enjoys exploring. Currently he is more of a sit still and ball up type of animal. Understanding of his trust building will be key for a wonderful forever friend. He has struck out at our staff a couple times due to this expansion of trust! He's a small guy though, so we aren't too worried about this. Ahvey's adoption fee is $150.00.

Ahvey is fed currently one small F/T rat every two weeks to help maintain a good body weight. He is a voracious eater and will come flying towards her dinner! A good set of tongs will ensure there are no cases of mistaken identity for this little dude! Ahvey does not come with an enclosure and one will need to be provided for him. He will require multiple hides, a large sized water dish, and all kinds of fun things for him to explore and climb over. He will need regulated heating as well as proper humidity. He will need appropriate belly heat regulated with a thermometer and regulator. If EXTENSIVE research is done and shown in the application, we may allow alternative heat sources however if you REFUSE to use a regulator we REFUSE to adopt to you. Ahvey's adoption fee is $150.00.

In order to take Ahvey home, proof of proper enclosure is required. Please respond to this ad and we will return the proper adoption forms and information to you. If you are unwilling to fill out our forms, please do not bother to reply.

We are located in Drayton Valley and while we encourage pick up we do offer delivery (once the adoption has been processed and approved) with a fee based on mileage and current gas prices. We require payment in full prior to leaving. All documentation must be filled out prior to anything to protect both parties and our animals.
