Llama Lunch is set to open in Saskatoon in the summer of 2024!

We are a subscription-based kids' lunch delivery service, making and delivering wholesome lunches to households in Saskatoon and area, we also offers various options to provide meals to children who lack access to healthy food. Founded by Laura and Spencer King, a busy couple with four children, Llama Lunch aims to make nutritious meals accessible to all kids.

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to join us starting in June 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a small staff team in a dynamic business that will truly make a difference in our community.

The position begins with a three-month trial period with an hourly pay rate of $30/hour

Role Requirements:
- Experience in the food service industry
- Staff management experience
- Availability for a minimum of 35 hours per week, including most weekends
- Experience with community engagement
- Highly motivated and with lots of initiative to help us grow
- Open to a varied list of tasks
- Full-time hours with weekend availability
- Experience with word, excel, website management
-Food Safe Level 1 Certification

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist with staff management
- Ensure quality control for packing of orders
- Assist with order packing when needed
- Assist with inventory management
- Help manage delivery logistics
- Source material, technology and systems to streamline processes for maximum efficiency
- Create newsletters for monthly donors.
- Establish connections with community organizations to create partnerships for
distributing lunches.
- Establish connections with elementary schools to create partnerships for "hot lunch" catering
