310T Licensed Mechanic needed for a mobile role covering our businesses in London, Ontario. A mobile service vehicle will be provided and outfitted with the necessary equipment; own tools will be required. Its a full-time opportunity to maintain and repair our fleet of Sweepers, Water Trucks, Dump Trucks, Live Bottom Trailers and Snow Plows.

The perfect candidate would be able to sufficiently cover our operations in Stoney Creek and London and reside in the surrounding areas. To expand our team, we are looking for an experienced mechanic. For equipment and vehicles to operate as best they can, the ideal candidate will be in charge of inspection, upkeep, and repairs.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery
- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose effective solutions
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts
- Conduct thorough inspections of engines, transmissions, and other systems
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed
- Repair vehicles including engines, HVAC, brakes, frame, steering, suspension, tires, wheels, drive train as well as electrical system components.

Requirements:

- Min 2 years experience as a diesel mechanic

- 310T License required

- Class G Driver's License with clean abstract to be provided

- You possess knowledge of all vehicle systems and have the skills and technical abilities to effectively diagnose repairs and identify recommendations for maintenance.

- Strong attention to detail will ensure driver satisfaction. You take pride in performing maintenance and repairs in an efficient and professional manner.

- You are able to work independently or as part of a team, versatile with proven ability to multitask.

-Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience in winter works operation is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
