Beautiful ground up restoration of a 1974 Transporter.

This bus has had all rust removed and replaced with brand new metal and refinished in Pastel White over Porsche Mint Green.

Every part of this bus has been gone over and restored to like new.

All new headlights, retainers and rings, front turn signals and lenses, rear markers and rear signals, license plate lights. New wiper arms and blades and electric washer system. New VW emblem and chrome antenna.

New windshield and all new window rubbers, felts and seals. All new door hardware and mirrors. New tinted windshield sunvisor.

Interior was completely stripped, primed and painted with roof, floor and side panels insulated for sound and heat. New headliner and sunvisors. New carpet and seat upholstery as well as seatbelts and a new steering wheel. Also has a Retro Sound radio installed.

Running gear has also all been replaced including front rotors, wheel bearings calipers and pads. All new brake hoses. Rear drums, shoes, and wheel cylinders as well as new parking brake cables, master cylinder and brake booster. New bushings shocks tie rods and wheels and commercial grade tires.

Engine has been completely rebuilt to stock 1.8L. Crank was polished with new rod and mains, case was cleaned and machined. New pistons and cylinders, new pushrod tubes and oil pump. Cylinder heads were overhauled with new valve adjusters. All the engine tin was sandblasted and painted and is present along with new heat exchangers.


This bus was professionally appraised at $66,200 when it was finished late last year. It is being offered for sale at $50,000 CAD. Located near Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
