This is a lovely art nouveau gift book! Measuring a petite 7" x 4", it is entitled A Hand Clasp by Indiana illustrator Wilhelmina Seegmiller. It is a 1911 first edition hardcover published by P.F. Volland at their shop in Chicago. The cover has cream boards with a gray marbled appearance with embossed gilt title and decoration. The eight pages are the same design paper which has been folded over and bound- they are printed on one side only. It is a book about memories of friendship and the pages feature blue forget-me-nots. This has some light wear to the covers. It is a lovely gift or collectible!
