JOB TITLE
Stone Processing Team Member
- Packager
- Chop/Trim Saw Operator
- Splitter

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring for roles within our stone processing department. This position includes packaging products, operating a chop/trim saw, and splitting stone of desired sizes. Each role is critical to our production process, and we provide training and support to ensure all team members can excel in their positions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Packager
- Follow product recipes for type recognition and sorting of stone.
- Package different products into crates based on product recipes.
- Operate a pallet jack for moving or positioning crates.
- Work a conveyor line to retrieve product from the saw.

2. Chop/Trim Saw Operator
- Operate a hand chop/trim saw to cut and trim stone to size for packaging.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks, such as cleaning the saw and work area, and greasing the saw.
- May perform some duties of a packager when required, with supervised training provided.

3. Splitter
- Use a hydraulic stone splitter to split larger stone into smaller pieces for sawyer work.
- Become proficient in positioning and proper sizing of stone for splitting.
- Use a conveyor feeder to bring larger stone to the splitter and help position stone for splitting.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks, such as cleanup of work area, greasing and changing parts of the splitter.
- May perform some duties of Stone Sawyers, Chop/Trim Saw Operators, and Packagers, with supervised training provided.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to perform the required tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

HOURS
Full-Time
Monday-Friday
