I have seen other places where this figurine is called The Carver, Szalonna Bacsi, Bacon Man, and Man Whittling. This figurine's original name is Szalonnazo Paraszt, or Bacon Eating Peasant. He is representing how the poor people lived back in old age in Hungary.
