Ashway Farms is a family run dairy operation in the Monkton/Milverton area. We milk around 200 head of Holstein cattle in double 10 parlour twice a day. It is a well maintained sand bedded free stall barn, with a 3 year old indoor calf facility as well as a brand new 160 stall heifer facility. We are looking for a individual to help with all aspects of daily animal care.

This position would include:
-millking shifts
-vaccination protocols
-some record keeping
-maintaining clean facilities
-daily barn chores
-seasonal field work

Breeding cattle is an asset but willing to train the right candidate.

Valid drivers license is required.
Must be able to milk morning and evenings every other weekend.
Could be additional hours on Saturdays depending on crop season.

Our operation is a very team oriented environment. You would be working along side with one of the family members.

Housing available if needed.
Position available immediately.

Wage is open for discussion and will be reflected on experience.
