We are offering this very unique concert Ukulele by Northern Instrument designed by world famous Nova Scotian J. Chalmers Doane. For being over 50 years old, this Uke is in impeccable condition. Comes with original burgundy coloured vinyl triangle shaped carrying case. It has a 3 piece wood body, neck, and neck anchor. Wooden rosewood bridge & fretboard and plastic nut. Plastic guitar style pegs hold the strings in place. Tuners work very well holding the string tightly in tune.

It is 25” long, 11” body, 9” wide at widest part of the body with 15 frets. The label inside body of uke says “Model No. JCD-2. This Northern Ukulele was designed by J Chalmers Doane”. This ukulele is very solid. Doane originally designed these ukes for use in the classroom being a professor at the Nova Scotia Community College, so they were built to be durable with amazing sound.
