High-end, very expensive sofa-bed purchased at The House of Teak in Winnipeg in the 80's. Very good condition for its' vintage age - a rare find for sure!
Super firm with NO sags, pockets, folds, or bars underneath you while using as a bed or for seating. When using as a sofa, my hubby and I both feel that it is super comfy due to the nicely angled back-rest, and deep seats - he is 6'4". Considering that this sofa is also a queen sized bed, the unit itself is very space-saving, not bulking looking in a room.
The sofa is deep seated, with a firm, comfortable cushion.
I purchased this piece from an elderly woman who showed me her purchase receipt: $1287.
She used it in her sunroom for seating and as a guest bed.
We purchased this with the intention of doing the same but we went with a different plan.
The photos were taken in the room where she used it.
As can be seen in the pics, when the sofa is opened up to be used as a bed, the colours are more beige (original colour) in the areas that haven't seen daylight, but when used as seating, the colours are entirely uniform.
This is the only sofa-bed I have ever seen that is firm, level/flat, with no horrible folds, pockets, lumps, or bars jabbing in your back - or other places! These quality features are also visible in the pics.
