Hi there! My name is Marissa. I've recently moved to Vancouver and due to a nursing injury am unable to return to that line of work yet.

However, I am an absolute dog lover (I've jokingly been called the dog whisperer) and am able to walk, the more I can, the quicker and better my injury is said to heal.

I'm 35 years old, live in Kitsilano (exact location to be disclosed only to real applicants for safety). I'm very responsible, punctual, love to play with dogs and shower them in love, treats & praise (or whatever you prefer). I have extremely flexible hours, am available to work within a schedule or on a need by need basis. I am also able to provide hourly to a day's worth of pet sitting if that is of interest to you.

I have a lot of experience with my own dogs (prior to moving to Vancouver where we are not in a place that allows dogs as permanent guests - they are okay with short stays.) I am good with all breeds and am very thorough when learning about your pet to ensure walks, meals and if there is any behavior you are working on, I continue it so as to not confuse the dog.

I do not have previous employment as a dog walker as it's always been just such a joy for me to do. However, I figured since I'm unable to return to my previous career for a while now, I'd turn my love and hobby into a small business for me.

Pay would be discussed on a case by case scenario depending on the needs required, etc. But I am willing to work within anyone's budget, so don't be afraid to reach out just due to that.
