This red meteorite came in hot, that's for sure! You can tell by the cracks throughout the stone, which show the speed this rock came flying down at, causing enough of an impact force that it cracked in several places. The fusion crust that lightly highlights the area coming out and to the sides of certain cracks show the intensity of heat this projectile was under from the speed of its flight. The splash of thick glossy fusion crust on the top of the stone (as you can see, some of it broke off upon impact) shows the rock had been melting as it flew for quite a ways, as the texture is think and glossy.
This is a wonderful meteorite, and it's very existence has a story of it own that can be told just from looking at the details that it displays. I hope you like it! Have a great day!
