0 year old female with a neurological condition (ARSACS) who uses a wheelchair, looking for help with personal care and household management. Caregiver Responsibilities: 1. Assistance with transfers, dressing and undressing. 2. Do range of motion exercises as directed by physiotherapist. 3. Do homemaking activities weekly as needed: cleaning floors, kitchen and bathroom; changing bed 4. Help with shopping/appointments 5. Help Meal Preparation 6. Other similar tasks that would be performed by one 's self from time to time were it not for a physical disability.
Work Schedule: Flexible – Times needed Daily: Mornings for 2 hours starting anywhere between 8:00 am and 10:00 am, Evenings for 1 hour starting anywhere between 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Anywhere between 1 and 6 shifts per week as desired by the employee
Qualifications: - Basically anyone who likes to help. Previous personal care experience preferred. Formal CCA or equivalent training preferred but not necessary.
Personal Qualities: • Reliable and punctual. • Able to understand verbal and written instructions in English. • Flexible and willing to accept direction. • Outgoing.
