Selling dad's old sports car. A near stock 1988 Nissan 300zx, naturally aspirated, manual tranmission. Working A/C. 2 Seater / Non 2 2 car. Car is currently running and driving.

Was my father's weekend car, but with the clear coat fade, exhaust work, fender, and quarter panel. It's too much work, and too noisy for him. I have my own project car under way and I can't take it on for space.

As far as I am aware only modifications are the K&N cone air filter, shift gate cover (Possible short shift kit from previous owner),the rear interior is missing some of the plastic trim (Previous owner installed subs with a wooden box), and the radio. Vehicle was appraised at $6,500 in 2019 before exhaust problems. Appraisal attached in pictures.

Work needed includes: EGR line is broken causing one exhaust leak, The exhaust itself is leaking from small holes throughout. Recommend new manifold back exhaust. Rear right quarter panel has a hole from corrosion and rust. Right front fender was hit and run in a parking lot and is rippled with paint cracking. Front Tires are from 2017, and are starting to show signs of weather cracking. Voltage gauge reads low (bad connection), and the fuel gauge reads empty after a few hundred km. Sending unit issue. Had it out 2 years ago to verify.

Vehicle still sees around 500 - 1,000km per year without issue. Have a portfolio of maintenence, work, service manual, wiring diagrams, related purchases, and any other relevant info I have. Oil changed every 5-6k. Castrol high milage, K&N oil filter. Transmission and differential fluids changed at Nissan around 240,000km, timing belt and relevant work done at 262,262. Which is why it was listed at "rebuilt" in the appraisal for some reason. Was compression tested before being done. Results I was told were an average around 180, lowest was 174. Brakes were serviced before being put into storage last year. Only known leaks are a slight valve cover leak. Pads and rotors, a rear caliper, both front wheel bearings, tie rods, and a ball joint were replaced a few years back. Sporadically undercoated. Sometimes twice a year, sometimes once every other year. Depending on how often driven.

Asking $5,500, but there's always room for a little haggling within reason.
