I am accepting from the age of aprx 1 year to 3 yrs of age for PT care. I am available each week Tues, Wed and Thurs 7am-5pm (some flexibility on hours if needed) and some Fri's if needed 7am- 3pm.
I am looking for a family that after mat leave must go back to work (but do not want to leave their child with a "government institutionalized type" environment). A family that is looking for just a day, or 2 or 3 days a week to help socialize their child with a small group of friends around their age and abilities to help in their natural development. A family looking for a clean, warm, quiet, peaceful home full of love, baking goodies each week, and clean carpets and floors where your child can explore and be safe.
I offer cuddles, clean noses, baking banana bread and rice krispy squares, the real "mommy treatment" while you can't be with them.
I offer proper cribs for nap times, and I do not wake them if possible, which means, I DO NOT offer drives to playschool, kindergarten or other areas. I believe in a baby having proper naps in a calm, quiet, home and should not be woken to pick up other children from school. I am a different dayhome, one that specializes with babies and young toddlers, not ECS aged children.
As mentioned, I am a private dayhome. Do not let that scare you as I have all the checks etc as any licensed dayhomes, without all the stress and paperwork. I am simple, real, fun and energetic. I am flexible and negotiable and very fair in my pricing.
There seems to be such a shortage of great quality childcare that is licensed, however I promise that you will not be disappointed in what I offer, even though I am private. I have the experience and references to reassure you of that.
I have chosen this sometimes hard but very rewarding job out of love for children and the fun and happiness that comes from watching little ones learn and grow and love unconditionally. I have no children of my own and chose this career out of what I expressed, and not to stay home with my own children, I believe there is a difference, come and see for yourself.
I have several decades of experience of running an organized and professional dayhome, but I am looking for the right family to come and be apart of my dayhome family.
Shift workers and regular drop in care is available.
I know this is the hardest decision you will ever make, but with my years of experience, I will help you and baby along the way and make transition easier than you ever thought possible.
