The Whole Show Restorations Inc. is seeking an experienced flood/restoration technician to join our team.
Our company works with insurers and loss-adjusting firms to restore flood and fire damaged properties back to pre-loss condition. Our employees are dedicated claims handlers and restoration technicians who collectively strive to reduce the insurance claim life cycle and support businesses and homeowners during this stressful period. Our service area includes Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Port Alberni, and surrounding areas.

JOB DUTIES:
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
• Perform restoration activities such as water extraction, minor demolition, and debris disposal
• Responsible for delivery and set-up of drying equipment as well as equipment removal
• Regular monitoring of equipment and moisture levels
• Assist with contents activities such as inventory, packing up and resetting contents, cleaning contents and post-construction cleaning

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Experience in the restoration industry
• IICRC certifications are an asset
• Must be able to lift over 35 lbs
• Must have the physical capability of working in smoky, confined and/or water damaged environments
• Ability to use common hand and power tools while maintaining a safe job site
• Friendly, personable and able to manage challenging situations in a professional manner
• Positive attitude, team player
• Clean criminal record and driver's abstract
• A valid BC driver's license is required
• A reliable vehicle to get to and from our shop is required
• Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency calls

WAGE, BENEFITS & INCENTIVES:
• $23 - $27 per hour depending on experience

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
