Job Title: Line Cook/Food Prep

•Location: Kingston, Nova Scotia
•Job Description: Join our family business as a Line Cook/Food Prep. We pride ourselves on our high standards for food and customer service. This is a fantastic summer job opportunity, offering great tips and a welcoming team environment.

•Key Responsibilities:
-Operate kitchen equipment, including fryers and grills, to prepare a variety of dishes.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Adhere to food safety and handling protocols, especially regarding meat / seafood preparation.
-Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks.
-Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
-Maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation, with a focus on burgers.
-Exhibit leadership skills and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

•Qualifications:
- Kitchen/Restaurant Management is an asset.
- Food Handlers Course is an asset.
-Basic cooking knowledge and experience with kitchen equipment, especially in preparing seafood.
-Understanding of food handling and safety regulations.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Team player with good communication skills.
-Demonstrates cleanliness and a high level of personal hygiene.

•Employment Details:
-Pay: Minimum wage to start, plus great tips.
-Employment Type: Full-time and part-time positions available.
-Duration: Seasonal position, open until October.
-Start Date: July 1st.
