I have a very high instep, and now wear orthopedic insoles in my shoes and hiking boots.
I've worn custom boots from White's for decades, and bought this pair at the end of a Forestry career, and when the arch support in the White's wasn't enough anymore.
These are the most comfortable, durable boots I've ever come across.
I'm size 81/2, but when measured for fit - I wore 5 lb. wool socks. They would prob. fit between size 8 and 9 or even 91/2 depending on socks worn.
