Bowers and Wilkins , B&W DM 560 floor standing speakers from 1977. Dubbed the Pregnant Penguin.

Extremely high quality components and build, as evidenced by the beautiful crossover, 26kg cabinet and heavy, well constructed drivers (B&W were the first to use woven kevlar in their midrange driver). The 10" bass driver is bextrene with original rubber surround, which should virtually never need replacing.

They have awesome power (they can soak up 350W without blinking) and finesse; just outstanding, breathtakingly gorgeous sound.

With all grills and foam I'd price these at around $2000, so you get fabulous, incredible DM6 sound for this bargain basement price! "
