Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the high quality of furniture production in wood furniture manufacturing. QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting machined work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications. As we prioritize this QC position, we are looking for a dedicated individual who can uphold our quality standards with precision and diligence.



RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Ability to follow written instructions and take verbal instructions for multiple assembly tasks in a manufacturing shop environment.

·         Guide and oversee the quality control function and manufacturing quality function to meet quality standards for materials, products, NPD and Manufacturing process, FG, Packing, Logistics Quality, mock-ups, etc.,

·         Manage manufacturing quality: process audit, product audit, developing and updating inspection working instructions and control plans, quality awareness training, process non-conformity goods disposal, etc.

·         Manage the disposal of non-conforming material, components, and products, ensuring that company and product quality requirements are met.

·         Monitor the verification and follow-up of quality issues occurring at the production line and customer sites, ensuring all open NCM issues can be closed in a timely manner.

·         Formulate and set quality policies according to global furniture quality standards and legal regulations for quality control function.

·         Lead special inspection tool design process.

·         Manage all incoming material and component inspection activities and develop and manage new product test activities including new fabric application test, new product in house.

·         Oversee Mock-up/Control Sample quality inspections.

·         Keep drawing issues record and feedback to Product marketing and Engineering team on monthly basis to drive improvement.



REQUIREMENTS:

·         Must have previous experience in wood furniture manufacturing (required).

·         Must be knowledgeable of solid wood and veneer natural and manufacturing defects and characteristics.

·         Must be knowledgeable of finishing processes and possess the ability to establish acceptable color ranges.

·         Must be knowledgeable of the Quality tools used to monitor the process and make improvements.

·         Must be a self-starter that can identify improvements and implement them with limited direction.

·         Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with exceptional interpersonal skills.

·         Must be proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word in a Windows environment.

·         Must be focused and attentive to details.

·         Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines.

·         Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
