We are looking for someone to help spell off my dad's caregiver on weekends. My dad is a bright capable older guy with some mobility challenges post surgery. He recently lost his wife and some companionship is helpful. We need someone who would enjoy talking with my dad (he is a professor and loves the field of education). Ideally you could help with basic household chores alongside my dad and offer assistance with mobility as needed. He is fairly self sufficient but may need some assistance getting in and out of the shower and monitoring for falls. A drivers license would be good so that you could accompany him on outings and/ or walks to the bird sanctuary. Hours are flexible maybe 9am-4? This job is good for a male caregiver but could work for a female as well.
