I am the original owner of this bike. It was used weekends only (Saturday and Sunday, once per day) on a 17km semi-rough terrain and hilly road loop around our summer residence in Maine. (Nash's Lake Rd,Mount Holly Rd, Shattuck Rd.) I cycled with some guys who had some serious money into their own cycles and this bike never failed to do everything theirs did, in fact the forks work better on rough terrain than some $1000 bikes I have ridden. Upgraded seat, grips, high pressure air pump/carrier, water bottle/carrier, rims and tires with puncture resistant tubes. Tires on it now have only been around the loop a couple of times. Don't let the fact it does not have disc brakes deter you from looking at a cycle as in my opinion brakes are better regulated grabbing the outside diameter of a good quality rim and not the small center of a non-hydraulic bicycle disc brake setup that most cycles have unless you spend a lot of $$$. Hate to see it sitting as my cycling buddies all moved back to canada during covid and never returned yet. Was always kept out of the weather when not in use on our property. This is still a great cycle
