Gerald Battist Trucking Ltd is seeking full-time employment for a Heavy Duty Truck & Transport Mechanic in Granton, NewGlasgow NS. We offer competitive wages and a good benefits package.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:
-Maintenance and inspection of trucks and trailers.
-Complete preventative maintenance forums and record repairs.
-Adjust, repair or replace parts specified or required.
-Diagnose issues and troubleshoot for repair.
-Use Computer Diagnostics to diagnose and repair engine and after treatment systems.
-Support and promote a safe work environment.

Requirements:
-Red Seal Truck & Transport License preferred.
-Good communication skills.
-Good time management and multi-tasking skills.
-Valid Drivers License, Class 1 would be an asset.
-Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
-Strong troubleshooting background with air and electrical systems and components
-Working Monday to Friday & Saturdays when required.
