Founded in 2012, Woody's Burgers Bar & Grill located in Long Branch, Etobicoke offers the best burger in town. We serve made-in-house fresh ingredients daily and our hand-pressed meat patties come from local farm raised cattle. At Woody's Burgers, we believe it's not fast food, it's good food.

With increasing demand, we are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our restaurant. Being a restaurant manager, you are responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operations as well as maintain high production and productivity, motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

Salary: $22 per hour
Working Hours: permanent position, full-time by shift (35-40 hr/week)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with restaurant owner to manage and oversee the entire restaurant operations and achieve annual objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, completing and implementing action plans.
• Meet restaurant objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Monitor expenses, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to maximize profitability, such as optimizing menu pricing, reducing waste, and managing inventory.
• Manage restaurant's finances, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
• Record and analyze daily sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
• Plan menus and seasonal specials by consulting with owner, estimating food costs and profits, and adjusting menus.
• Manage daily operations and coordinate with food service supervisors, including scheduling shifts, managing staff, overseeing kitchen personnel, ordering supplies, food preparation, cleanliness, and maintenance.
• Negotiate arrangements with vendors to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing for food and other supplies.
• Conduct recruitment and training of all restaurant staff, set performance expectations, and provide feedback and coaching, and address any performance issues or conflicts that arise among team members.
• Ensure restaurant adhere to health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and licensing requirements, and take corrective action as needed to maintain compliance.
• Interact with customers, handle complaints or concerns, implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary education is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience working in the food service industry is required, including minimum 3 years of proven related experience working in a restaurant managerial role is a must.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Demonstrate leadership, organizational, customer service and financial management skills.
• Demonstrate management skills and ability to lead a team.
• Be able to work under high pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
