Quality Control Inspector (Technologist)

Job Description:Job Description One of our valuable clients is hiring a Quality Control Inspector (Technologist) in Toronto. The incumbent should be qualified, dedicated and highly motivated; wanting to work in a team setting with a growing organization. Job description;Inspect, test, measure and control all and any AC or DC unit(s) or component including incoming, in-process and finalInspect, test, measure and control all/any purchased supplies including raw material, processed and finished partsRecord test results, test procedures or inspection dataDistinguish colours (not colour blind)Knowledge and hands-on experience of operating principles and the use of various industry standard precision measuring tools and equipment including oscilloscope, megger, voltmeter, etcKnowledge, capability and hands-on experience to perform electrical tests (Insulation Resistance, ResistanceTest, Bar to Bar and Polarity);Knowledge, capability and hands-on experience to use measuring tools such as caliper, vernier, bore gage, etc.Understanding of tolerances and interferences as they relate to electrical rotating equipmentFollow process control proceduresMaintain production and/or work recordsComplete various quality reporting tasks including non-conformance, etc.Actively participate in preparation of all internal/ third party/ regulatory auditsTo meet production deadlines and schedulesTo adhere to all company rules, policies and procedures at all timesMaintain compliance for security risk eligibility and acceptance (ITAR)Participate in material or process reviews·Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publicationsOther tasks as assigned Education: Canadian accredited or recognized post secondary education major in electro-mechanical or electrical engineering or technology. Over 8 years experience hands on as winder (NOC 7333) may be substituted for education. Experience: minimum two (2) years hands on as quality control inspector (technologist) in similar environment Working conditions: fast pace, attention to detail, distinguish colours (not colour blind), positive attitude, etc. Personal suitability: speak, read, write and communicate in English is essential, follow orders and instructions, being able to work with others or individually with minimum supervision, team player Remuneration: $20 - $25 per hour Shift: day, Monday through Friday, 7:00 – 16:00 ET Safety: criminal record check (fingerprints), TB testing and ITAR compliance; reimbursement of maximum $75.00 for TB testing and $110.00 for fingerprints per person with proof of payment such as receipt Confidentiality: mandatory NDA To Apply call or text @437 220 9168/ 416 670 2627/ 437 788 5719 or email to hr@trimaxemployment.ca Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
