Position: Part-Time Line Cook
Location: Downtown Hamilton, ON
Schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays (approximately 16-20 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Are you a skilled line cook with a flair for the service industry and a love of health food? Do you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Join our team as a Part-Time Line Cook.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items on the line according to menu specifications in an open air kitchen.
Interact with customers at the bar as they wait for their food.
Work efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen line and equipment.
Assist with food preparation and mise en place as needed.
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Requirements:
Previous experience as a line cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
Previous experience preparing vegan and vegetarian foods.
Understanding of allergies and cross contamination.
Safe Food Handlers certification.
Excellent personal hygiene.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Experience with UberEats and SkipTheDishes.

Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary degree or equivalent training.
Experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
Vegan or vegetarian preferred.
