Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and assistance to patients in their homes
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- May include heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and report changes in patient's health status
- Provide emotional support and companionship to children
Skills:
- Experience in hospice care or patient care settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient well-being
- Familiarity with assisted living and nursing home environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for interacting with patients and their families
- Understanding of home care protocols and best practices
